Rules and Tournamnet Format for Winter 2007 season.
1) Any form of cheating (using an aid to play) will result In a club ban. (eg computer slow or meter macro or aces cheat)
2) No green chipping excpeting wre there is an obstruction or the ball is so far away it is off the putt meter.
3) ALL Tournamanets will be on Tiger Woods 2008.
4) Courses (the same)
We play 40% Stock and 60% Down load courses at the moment we are playing about 40% on down load. Except Bee-tour which are 100% stock. As in the Bee-Tour is open to those who have no DL ability and all those excluded can DL. Al special Tour events wil be on 100% stock courses.
5) During majior week there wil be no other tours set inc Bee-Tour Special Tour etc..
6) In the even of only one finisher that person earns the ranking points.
7) No points are awarded for incomplete tournaments. (ie all rounds mustt be completed.
8)Tournament Times ALL tournaments will start on Thursday at 00:00 Hrs GMT (Wednesday 17:00 US Eastern Time.)
* Slight variations in tournament times may occur but all tourneys will be set well in advance of the start time, it is the members responsibility to keep the tournament scehdule and look them up on the web site.
9) Tournaments will NOT be played on badly produced courses with bugs or ones that bear no resemblance to the real course even if its a major.
10) In the event of a tournament being set with an incorrect setting and it has NOT been noticed by the Tournament Director of anyone else before the firt round commences the tournament will be completed and the results will stand.
Tour Details:
1) Bee-Tour:
Will be 2 rounds over 6 days and 100% Stock courses. (Sets will be according to the level of course and previous sets. None will be extreme unless requested by the players) **The Bee-Tour is for competition among players with lower rankings that perhaps don't play as much as us TW lifers. The highest ranking members are disqualified to play in the Bee-Tour. The Hive Collective strive to make competition available for all out members.
The following players are banned from playing the Bee-Tour for winter 2007 (on TW08. It wil be incresed at the end of the Autumn 2007 season.

* PLease note Bee-Tour events will not count towards main overall rankings, it is a uniqueue seperate tour.
2) MainTour:
Each week, we have one 3 rounder over 6 days. We will set approximately 33% Easy, 33% Medium, and 33% Hard. This will be thought out and people can express each week if they have some preferences on the boards for the CM's to consider. A mixture of aproximately 50% down load and 50% stock courses will be used.
3) Minor Tour:
Each week, we have one 1 round event over 6 days. We will set approximately 33% Easy, 33% Medium, and 33% Hard. This will be thought out and people can express each week if they have some preferences on the boards for the CM's to consider. A mixture of aproximately 50% down load and 50% stock courses will be used. When Special Tour events are time tabled the the "Do or Die" tour will not be run.
4) The Special Tour:
The specail tour event replaces the 1 round event from time to time. It consists of the special set tournaments which people recive awards for winning at the end of the season. All Special Tour events are set on stock courses. Events include:
A) BirdieFest @ St Andrews in perfect condtions.
B) Hates Fury @ back 9 Saw Grass in hellish condtions.
C) Oxymoron the tournament of opposites course variable.
D) Ladies Day from the short tees course is variable from season to season.
E) Wet and Wetter course variable set in still wet and still very wet conditions - .
Each of these tournaments is 2 rounds over 6 days days.
5) Majors Tour (To be scheduled as per PGA)
The sets will be predicted as best we can to simulate real life conditions but limited to a variety as well, ie. The CM can make some changes so all rounds aren't exactly the same. And as usual 4 rounds over 8 days. Were there is no PGA major avaiable during a seaon we wil make one up or play an historical set.
The points system
All tournaments receive points to 10th places.
The points to be awarded as follows:

Medium set items include breezy winds, wet or very wet greens, average rough length, a medium grade course. Hard set items include very dry greens, gusty or strong winds, heavy rough, a hard graded course.
